The Best of Opera in Cinema at the KiMo. From Teatro alla Scala
La Traviata is one of the most popular Italian operas of all time. The title, which means “The fallen woman,” refers to the heroine, Violetta Valery, a courtesan in 19th centruray France. This production is very traditional – big satin ball gowns, elaborate sets, etc. Sung in Italian with English Subtitles.
