A number of organizations are coming together to present this day that is all about growing nature's beauty and bounty. some of the planned features include: Native American ritual dancing celebrating their connection to the world of nature; Natvie seed planting and talks on the significance of planting; Seed distribution to the public; a Seed Exchange center where members of the public can bring their seeds and exchange with others; Workshops and presentations with Q&A on such topics as "Propagation," "Tiny Gardens," "The Nuts & Berries of Gardening," and more; Demonstrations on subject like Seed Winnowing; Movies like "Dirt, the Movie," "King Corn" and more; a kids' area with hands-on planting, reading and art activities; panel discussion with expert growers.
