Presented in conjunction with Women & Creativity. One Million Bones is a large-scale social arts practice focused on raising awareness about ongoing genocides, and raising funds for the survivors. Join us for a lively discussion of the evolving role of the arts as a tool, method, means of engagement in social movements. Stay for a bonemaking event where participants can create their own artwork bone which will become part of the 1,000,000 bones installation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. in the spring of 2013.
