Curated by Blanca Berlín, Women & Women features the work of five artists who exemplify some of the best in contemporary Spanish photography. It displays the smooth forms of the female body as seen by Isabel Muñoz; the perplexing androgyny of artist Beatriz Moreno’s work; the superimposed images of Gabriela Grech that convey mental & emotional confusion; Ouka Leele’s metaphysical “Mater Dolorosa” fiction; & Soledad Córdoba’s vision of the body as a limitless source of creation. This exhibit marked the opening of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union in the United States in January in Washington, DC. Opening Reception: February 3rd, at 6:30pm Spanish Wines & Tapas
