The Men of Mah Jongg centers around Sid Weinberg, a lonely, 70 year old widower and his three best friends from New York City, all searching for one last hurrah before the great beyond. One day Weinberg gets a DVD in the mail addressed to his deceased wife entitled "How to Be a Champion at Mah Jongg."
Sensing this is a sign from his departed wife (an avid Mah Jongg player herself), he goes about trying to convince his 3 poker playing buddies to switch to the more feminine game of Mah Jongg. The men desperately resist the game and the fireworks begin. A tale of hope and friendship accompanied by a healthy dose of chaos and pathos.
